Researcher at the Satellite Networks Department of the Institute of Communications and Navigations of the German Aerospace Center (DLR)

• Born in Genoa, Italy, on March 11th, 1996.
• Since October 2023 with the Satellite Networks Department of the Institute of Communications and Navigations of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), investigating channel codes for machine-type communications (URLLC and mMTC). Projects:
  • 01/2026-present - xG Research and Innovation Cluster (xG-RIC)
  • 11/2024-present - ESA ARTES AO11960 “Lightweight Onboard FEC Decoding for High Data Rate Optical Inter-Satellite Links”, (Consortium: DLR, Tesat, Creonic)
  • 11/2024-12/2025 - 6G Research and Innovation Cluster (6G-RIC)
• Ph.D. in Electrical Electronics and Communications Engineering at Politecnico di Torino (Italy) and German Aerospace Center (DLR) (Germany) in 2025, supervised by Prof. Monica Visintin, prof. Roberto Garello and Dr. Gianluigi Liva.
• B.S. and M.S. degrees in telecommunications engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Italy) in 2018 and 2021, the latter in a double degree program with EURECOM (France).
• Till 2025 with the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications (DET) of Polytechnic University of Turin. Projects:
  • 10/2023–10/2024 – “INCHNET – Innovative Channel Coding for Modern and Green Networks”, (Consortium: Politecnico di Torino, University of Bologna).
  • 02/2023–10/2024 – ESA ARTES ITT AO10694 “Multiple Access Sequences for Satellite Constellations without Centralised Management”, (Consortium: Politecnico di Torino, CNIT, Thales Alenia Space Italia).
  • 03/2021–12/2023 – “European Radio Module for Advanced Spacecrafts (ERMES)”, (Consortium: Politecnico di Torino, Argotec, Neohm Componenti).
• In 2021 and 2022 with DET, involved in the design of low-complexity and high-throughput baseband modulators and demodulators for the development of a "European Radio Module for advancEd Spacecrafts" (ERMES) in collaboration with Argotec and Tekfer companies and promoted by Regione Piemonte.
• From 2014 till 2023 (10 amazing years!), I have been a Volunteer of the Italian Red Cross (Local Committee of Giaveno). I have been involved in many activities related to youth and peer education, health care, social support, catastrophies, coordinating some projects and funds through the years and collaborating with psichologists, doctors, nurses, engineers, architects social workers and many other amazing souls :).
